PÁL PILÁT 1860-1931
He learnt violin making from Thomas Zach in Vienna, he worked for Gabriel Lemböck and David Bittner here. After he moved to Budapest he first worked for J.W.Schunda later for Eduard Bartek. In 1883 he took over the workshop of Ede Bartek.
